Meet your Supervisor

Hi I’m Jacs,
I know from my own experience that building a coaching practice can be hugely challenging, scary, frustrating and, if we are completely honest, a little lonely at times too.
Supervision plays an important role; not just as an accreditation requirement but as a gift to your future self. As your supervisor, I’ll be your advocate, your champion and your accountability partner. I’ll bring my whole self, giving us all permission to be shamelessly imperfect and fully human whilst of course remaining professional and process-focused.
Supervision with me is an intentionally held, reflective space to:
-
Deepen self-awareness & grow your impact
-
Explore tensions, insecurities & ethical dilemmas without judgement
-
Celebrate your successes, strengths & best practice
-
Challenge your thinking & make sense of your experience
-
Acknowledge & process a full range of thoughts/emotions
-
Identify opportunities & build momentum for professional development
-
Collaborate & share knowledge with like-minded professionals
-
Develop self-care strategies for sustainable well-being & performance

My Coaching Philosophy
My work as a Chartered Coaching Psychologist, supervisor and mental fitness trainer centres around a common purpose - strengthening readiness, resilience and inner resources so you can navigate your career with confidence. My client-base is broad and includes global organisations, small business, educational settings and individuals. Our work together integrates the core existential pursuit of authenticity with the positive psychology emphasis on growth and optimal challenge.
In my role as supervisor, I stand shoulder to shoulder with you; celebrating your successes, deepening your self-awareness and growing your impact as a coach. Through reflective exercises and innovation we will build the momentum needed to evolve your coaching practice as you grow personally & professionally. If applicable, we will review and progress your portfolio of evidence towards accreditation including the BPS route to becoming a Chartered Coaching Psychologist. Group supervision is particularly beneficial for this, providing a foundation for collaborative, knowledge-sharing and an opportunity to expand your coaching toolkit.
Underpinning our work is my coaching philosophy; grounded in the belief that peak performance is achieved when we embrace life’s complexity, connect deeply with the work being done and engage in meaningful action. To achieve this we will leverage existential psychology to explore core values, confront underlying tensions, and identify your authentic purpose, answering the question; who are you as a coach? We’ll dedicate time to analysing successful coaching sessions to help identify strengths and elements of best-practice. And we’ll explore resource management and self-care strategies not as an add-on, but as an ethical necessity for sustainable practice.
How it Works
All good relationships start with a chat over a cuppa so I invite you to get in touch today and arrange an introductory meet where we can get to know each other. I’m interested to hear about your current coaching practice and your future aspirations. We can then talk abut how Supervision aligns with this and what you need from me as your Supervisor.
