When you board a plane to a new destination there is a natural mix of excitement, trepidation and nerves. Risk is unavoidable and turbulence unpredictable. A successful, enjoyable flight is made possible through careful planning, monitoring & quick responses. Journeys are rarely in a straight line and are never made alone.

A flight-plan is a real time journey map that clearly outlines roles and responsibilities of all involved. It opens eyes to what is possible, what is probable and what is avoidable - based on the plan, the right decisions can then be made.​  Having a plan evokes a sense of safety and trust which reduces fear and enables new heights to be reached. Positive experience and happiness is made possible only when safety is achieved.

Career FlightPlan is made up of 6 thinking strategies and 12 mental skills which can be applied on a day-to-day basis and also longer term transitions.

  • Baggage - understanding what thoughts & feelings are onboard

  • Turbulence - reducing the fear of challenges & unknowns

  • Support - knowing who/how/when to access help

  • Exit - spotting signs of distress early to reduce likelihood of quitting
