About VISE Mental Fitness

What do we mean by Mental Fitness and why do we believe it is so important?

Mental fitness is all about our capacity for handling life’s challenges and what we can do on a day-to-day basis to increase that capacity.

In the modern world, there are constant pressures and expectations that require us to step up, adapt, make changes, be flexible, be open-minded, influence, lead...it's exhausting!  And we don't come with an instruction manual to figure it all out.   Most of us are winging it and that's OK!  Here at VISE we understand how extraordinarily hard it can be to constantly fight the fires and just keep going.  And we want more than that for you - we want you to push forward and thrive, live your dreams, achieve your career goals and be the person you want to be for yourself and for your loved ones.

With our toolkit of simple daily exercises and our thinking strategies for navigating challenges we will build the mental strength you need to achieve all that you want.

Founder

Jacqueline Weeks

"I founded VISE Mental Fitness with the primary aim of supporting people to step up to the challenge of their next chapter with all the courage and determination it takes to succeed.  I recognise that changes and new beginnings can be emotional and stressful experiences and I believe in embracing all that comes with transition rather than playing safe or striving to live in a stress-free world.

More often than not my clients begin coaching from a place of stress, fear or denial; early excitement for their career transition may have faded due to challenges and setbacks faced and sometimes things aren’t quite working out as hoped or circumstances are perceived as being  too much to handle. Successful transition means working through these emotions to reach a place of growth, acceptance and self-leadership.

For some, coaching is a means to untangle a 'messy mind' and regain clarity and focus.   For others there is a clear outcome, achievement or desired behavioural change. A discovery call will let us get to know each other a little and see if the chemistry is there.   It is completely free and there is no obligation to proceed at the end.  The most important aspect to coaching is the relationship between coach & client.  My role as a coach is to listen, reflect, explore and challenge so that my clients make new self-discoveries and feel excited to take bold steps forward.  With progress comes confidence and resilience."
